The Forklift Driver/Operator is responsible for Operating a forklift move, locate, relocate, stack and count merchandise. The Forklift Driver/Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler & Checker duties.

Role and Responsibilities

• Daily inspection of the forklift
• Supply production lines with product or remove finished goods to finished goods warehouse
• Count of the production they pull from the production lines by product
• Staging, inspecting, and shipping outgoing finished goods
• Receiving and inspecting incoming raw materials
• Organization and documentation of warehouse contents
• Coordinate day to day activities with Packaging Line Lead to ensure smooth flow of product from packaging to the warehouse
• Housekeeping
• Load and offload trailers
• Availability for packing and stacking on packaging lines
• Operators at times need to input data entry and bill of ladings for outgoing goods
• Ensure that all paperwork is processed expeditiously and forwarded as needed

Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

•Required: GED or High School Diploma

•Required: minimum of 2 years of forklift experience

•Preferred: training in 40 hour Hazpower, DOT, OSHA

•PC literate
