X-Ray Technician

Location: Kingston , NY
Type: Full-Time, Temp to perm
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (No weekends)
Pay Rate: $48.00/hr

X-ray Technician Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced X-Ray Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating X-Ray equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal structures for medical purposes.

Primary job duties and responsibilities include:
- Performing radiological exams on patients as directed by healthcare providers
- Positioning patients to obtain accurate and clear images
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Reviewing images for quality and clarity, adjusting settings as needed
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Following safety protocols and procedures for radiation protection
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely imaging services
- Calibrating and maintaining equipment for optimal performance
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and ordering supplies

X-Ray Technician Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology
- Valid certification and licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- 2+ years prior experience working as an X-ray Technician in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
