Contract welders- Instrumentation Tubing
Scope of work: fillet welds on 1/2" diameter (0.049") instrumentation lines connected with couplings using the GTAW process. Seeking highly skilled contractor.
Contract welders- Aluminum/Stainless Pipe Welder
Scope of work: Aluminum and Stainless closing welds on site. Range of diameter and thickness will be 2"-20" sch. 40 and 80 pipe. Seeking Highly skilled Contractor.
Must Have:
· Welder must be able to pass a ASME IX code test
· To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Required:
· High school technical welding program or equivalent
· 3-5 yrs minimum experience as a welder
· Education may be substituted by extended experience
work Hours are 7 am – 4:30 pm (Mon-Fri), 7 am – 1:30 pm (Sat), Sundays as needed
The position will be based on Corpus Christi, TX but the candidates will interview and train for about 1-2 weeks at New Iberia, LA.
Qualification and submission of the candidate :
· A welding checklist has to be completed along with the resume
· Email the welding test template to the candidate and submit them only if they think they can weld that template
· Welding checklist (submit along with resume) and welding test template (email and check if the candidate pass that test) are two different documents.
· Need min 4-5 experience, anything less than that is not accepted
· Make sure the candidate is willing to work 7 days a week (Sundays when required only)
