Job Description & Requirements School Psychologist (PSY) - School - (PSY - School) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 7 D Pay Rate: $1650.00 - $2000.00 AMN Healthcare is partnering with a top school district in Wilmington Delaware to hire a School Psychologist to work in the area, providing services to children of all ages. This School Psychologist will provide counseling services to students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and to the regular student population (treating mood disorders, autism, anxiety, depression, ADHD, social skill deficits, conduct disorders) to foster positive coping strategies, motivation, and skill development. Responsibilities will include conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and strengths, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issue. They will collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments, provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed. They will also coordinate outreach activities that support students and families including pediatricians, outside counseling agencies, and agencies such as DCF, DMH, etc. Facility Location Wilmington is Delaware’s largest city, offering a diverse range of culture and entertainment, including the Italian Festival, Greek Festival, Polish Festival, Haneef's African Festival, IndiaFest, Hispanic Week, the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival, and the Riverfront Blues Festival.
