Job Description
As a Travel Counselor, you will be a key member of our Reservations and Customer Service team, delivering exceptional service to our valued guests. Your role will involve providing personalized support to our mature travelers, helping them with their travel plans, and ensuring they have a smooth and enjoyable experience before, during, and after their trips. We're looking for someone with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to help others.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming customer calls for both service and sales inquiries, providing knowledgeable and friendly assistance.
Ensure the highest level of telephone etiquette during every interaction.
Make outbound calls as needed (e.g., for collections, date consolidation, or requested call-backs).
Accurately update and maintain reservation details in line with company guidelines.
Handle administrative tasks, including data entry and quality assurance.
Collaborate with team members to reach departmental goals and contribute to a positive work culture.
Participate in team discussions to improve understanding of company processes and policies.
Take on additional projects as assigned.
Key Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in a customer service or contact center role.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to engage with mature travelers in a calm, courteous, and empathetic manner.
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
International travel experience (outside of North America) is a plus.
Call or contact center experience is preferred.
