We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as part-time Travel Counselors. This fully remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home, while making a meaningful impact on the travel experiences of our valued guests. As a Travel Counselor, you'll be an essential part of our Reservations and Customer Service team. You'll help our guests plan unforgettable travel experiences, offering personalized attention before, during, and after their tours. This role is ideal for someone with customer service experience who is looking for a position that offers both challenges and rewards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by assisting incoming calls for service and sales.
Maintain a high standard of telephone etiquette on all calls.
Make outbound calls as needed for collections, date consolidations, and requested follow-ups.
Update and maintain reservation information in accordance with company guidelines.
Handle administrative duties, including data entry and ensuring quality assurance.
Collaborate with colleagues to meet departmental goals and foster a supportive work environment.
Participate in calls with team members to better understand departmental processes and policies.
Take on other assigned projects and responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum of two years of experience in a customer service or contact center environment.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to interact with mature guests in a courteous, calm, and empathetic manner.
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
International travel experience (outside of North America) is preferred.
Previous experience in a call or contact center is a plus.
