Base pay range $70.00/hr - $80.00/hr Solutions Architect 1-Year Contract Boston, MA (in office 3-days/week) My client is seeking a skilled Solutions Architect with a strong technical background in Cisco, Ruckus, and Palo Alto technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise networking and security solutions. This role requires expertise in network architecture, cybersecurity frameworks, and wireless infrastructure, ensuring robust and scalable IT solutions for clients. Responsibilities Design and architect secure, high-performance network solutions using Cisco, Ruckus, and Palo Alto technologies. Provide technical leadership in network and security solution development, including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, firewall, and wireless infrastructure. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Configure, implement, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, including ACI, Nexus, and Catalyst platforms. Deploy and optimize Ruckus Wi-Fi networks, including SmartZone and Cloudpath implementations. Manage Palo Alto firewall policies, including NGFW, Panorama, and GlobalProtect configurations. Qualifications Expertise in Cisco networking, including CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification. Hands-on experience with Ruckus Wireless and SmartZone. Strong knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls, security policies, and threat prevention. Experience with network automation, scripting (Python, Ansible), and SD-WAN solutions. Solid understanding of network protocols, VLANs, VPNs, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
