Job Description
Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious and appealing meals for children, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, prepare, and distribute balanced meals and snacks that meet the nutritional needs of children.
· Follow dietary guidelines and accommodate any special dietary requirements or allergies.
· Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and proper food storage.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage practices.
· Order and manage kitchen supplies and inventory.
· Collaborate with staff to plan menus and coordinate mealtimes.
· Monitor and record food temperatures and maintain accurate records of meals served.
· Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
