Calling all Physician Assistants! Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to give back to our military service members? Partner with us as an independent contractor and provide essential health readiness services to the brave men and women who serve our country. This is a great opportunity for PAs seeking a flexible, part-time role, primarily on weekends, with some occasional weekday opportunities available in Oregon.
About the Role:
We provide crucial health readiness services to members of the U.S. Army Reserve, Army National Guard, U.S. Navy Reserve, U.S. Marine Forces Reserve, U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, Air National Guard, and U.S. Air Force Reserve. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our service members are medically ready for deployment.
What You'll Do:
Conduct Physical Health Assessments for military personnel.
Review health history, medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview service members to identify current and prior medical concerns.
Identify any immediate health concerns, including behavioral health needs.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member's medical record using our system.
What You'll Bring:
Active PA license in the state.
CPR/BLS Certification.
Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Occupational Health is a plus.
Experience with mobile medical services is a plus.
Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology is a plus.
Adaptability to fast-paced environments with high patient volume.
Ability to work extended hours.
Ability to work in various locations, including remote military installations.
Ability to travel and weekend availability are a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge and skills.
Important Note: You will not be required to diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications in this role.
