Get to Know Your Team: Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation. Responsibilities Work in an entry-level position providing basic patient care under the direction of nursing and medical staff Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs Observe patients’ progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered Nurses or other medical staff Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties Qualifications Job Requirements: High School or GED Must have BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer into position Preferred Job Requirements: 1 year experience in acute or long-term care Knowledge of Medical Terminology. Experience in Phlebotomy or completion of a Phlebotomy course Working towards approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic (EMT-P) certification
