Job Description
Michigan Memorial Park (MMP), a family owned cemetery since 1926.
This is a part-time position.
We are seeking a mature person who would like to help us with funerals coming into MMP. The position is every other week Monday -Sunday and is paid by each funeral coming into the Park. (estimated 1,500 burials per year). This position helps coordinate with local funeral homes when they enter MMP to where the burials will take place, some parking, gathering paperwork, etc. This is not a pastoral position.
If interested, you need a valid driver's license, appropriate attire including a nice overcoat for colder weather, be able to handle many funerals at one time, some Sunday holiday and sunset funerals and must have empathy for our families.
