Job Description
Maintains campus beautification throughout. painting of interior and exterior facilities to include on and off campus sites. Assist with building renovation projects. Knowledge of painting tools and techniques. This includes exterior/interior painting, texturing (knock down, orange peel, and pop corn) wet sealing, water proofing, pressure washing (both steam cleaning and soft wash). Must also be highly Knowledgeable with operating equipment as well as meeting all safety guidelines. Working hours are typically Monday- Friday 8AM - 430 PM with occasional overtime as needed to fulfill maintenance requirements or emergency repairs. Staff member will be required to work pre and post duty schedules as directed for hurricane or Summer operations.

Pressure wash all buildings campus wide and flats.
Operate hi-reach, wet sealing and waterproofing.
Operating company iPad to obtain, comment and close out tickets as well as communicating verbally.
Hurricane preparedness and cleanup
Other duties as assigned
State of Florida drivers' license and ability to maintain a good driving record defined by Florida Tech's insurance company.
30 hour OSHA general Safety & Health certification, preferred

Annual Security & Fire Safety Report The federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) requires colleges and universities, both public and private, participating in federal student aid programs to disclose campus safety information and impose certain basic requirements for handling incidents of sexual violence and emergency situations.
Florida Tech's 2024 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Florida Tech, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.
The numbers provided include crime statistics reported to local law enforcement agencies, campus security and other Campus Security Authorities.
The report also includes institutional policy statements regarding campus safety and security measures, descriptions of prevention and awareness programs, related university procedures and important guidance, and other essential safety information.
