Job Title: Oracle DBA

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in designing, coding, and supporting applications using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Strong experience integrating databases with Java applications.
• Extensive experience with unit testing and ensuring code quality.
• Expertise in Agile development methodologies.
• Advanced skills in data aggregation and analysis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in reporting.

1. Perform advanced analysis to support, improve, and enhance databases and reports for a large-scale project.
2. Integrate Oracle databases with Java applications to improve functionality and data flow.
3. Provide thought leadership and innovative solutions to complex problems, ensuring efficient project scope management.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of reports serving Texas's 1200 school districts.
5. Create and maintain documentation, including database and Jasper Reports development.
6. Perform dev/unit testing and resolve bugs in core and PEIMS projects.
7. Participate in the Agile development process, following SDLC methodologies to complete code changes for defined releases.
8. Ensure the ongoing accuracy and efficacy of reports, working across multiple agency stakeholders.
