BJC Medical Group is seeking a Nocturnist to join their Parkland Health Center team in Farmington, Missouri.

Parkland Health Center offers a full continuum of inpatient and medical-surgical and intensive care, obstetrics, geriatric psychiatry and emergency services, along with a wide variety of outpatient services including oncology services, an infusion center, a cardiac catheterization lab, a wound care clinic, and the Huckstep Heart and Lung Center.

Position Highlights:

• $378,560 Base Salary
• 7 on/7 off - 182 Shifts per year
• $100,000 student loan repayment
• $30,000 Sign-on Bonus
• Up to $25,000 quality bonus per year
• $12,000 tenure bonus starting year three

Overview

BJC Medical Group is the multi-specialty physician-led organization of BJC HealthCare and includes over 600 doctors and advanced practice providers who are affiliated with top-ranked hospitals in the Midwest region.

Parkland Health Center Hospitalists are medical physicians who specialize in the care of hospitalized patients. They are located on the campus in Farmington, MO.

Role Purpose

The physician will provide professional medical services within the practicing Specialty through direct patient care and other related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations, conducting patient-specific education, and collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members.

Responsibilities

• Manages the medical care of patient panel by providing or arranging for inpatient hospital care of patients, either through regular hospital rounds or making arrangements with hospitalists or other qualified physicians.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the care team to ensure excellent patient care outcomes.
• Performs and documents medical histories and physicals in the patient’s medical record as required.
• Provides or arranges for call coverage in a manner acceptable to BJC.
• Collaborates and teaches advanced practice providers and support staff in the care of patients.
• This is a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness and safe work practices.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Doctorate in Medicine
• Experience: Less than 2 years
• Supervisor Experience: No Experience
• Licenses & Certifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified, Licensed Physician

Preferred Requirements

• Experience: 2-5 years
