Job Summary:
The Test Driver is responsible for evaluating vehicles. The role will drive vehicles in small groups or individually on designated routes (shift typically lasts 8-10 hours: city and highway driving) and report any functional issues encountered while driving. Test Drivers will test vehicle features and systems and provide feedback related to vehicle performance and any issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Drive vehicles on designated routes.
• Report functional issues encountered while driving.
• Test vehicle features and systems and provide feedback related to vehicle performance.
Education and Experience (required):
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Good driving record.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (required):
• Ability to work flexible schedules and weekends as needed.
• Knowledgeable about automotive systems and able to check basic vehicle components.
• Ability to pay attention to details and complete required paperwork including reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new processes, self-starter and self-motivated.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (preferred):
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Ability to work shifts that require overnight stays, may be out of state.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts as needed.
• Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk and hear, use hands and fingers to operate a vehicle. Visual Acuity- at least 20/40 for each eye and both eyes together, with or without corrective lenses. Field of Vision- at least 70 degrees in each eye. Color Vision- demonstrated ability to distinguish colors that pertain to driving and traffic control. Able to sit for long periods of time. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
