We are currently seeking a passionate and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our dynamic team. In this integral role, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to clients dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities and needs (e.g., transportation, meal preparation, emotional support).
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients while on the premises.
- Monitoring client behavior and reporting any changes or concerns to the managerial staff.
- Facilitating group activities and discussions to promote engagement and recovery.
- Maintaining strict patient confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in psychology or related fields is preferred.
- Prior experience in a behavioral health or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
