Selby Jennings has partnered with a leading hedge fund who is looking to add to their Healthcare teams.

Role Overview:
They are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Equity Research Analyst to join their Healthcare team, specializing in Therapeutics or Medical Technology (MedTech).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive research on companies within the Therapeutics and/or MedTech sectors, covering areas such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and medical devices.
• Analyze clinical data, regulatory developments, and competitive landscapes to assess investment potential.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate company performance and valuation.
• Stay abreast of scientific advancements, healthcare trends, and market drivers to inform investment strategies.
• Present clear, actionable investment recommendations to portfolio managers and senior team members.
• Collaborate with other research analysts and investment professionals across teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Finance, or a related field; advanced degrees (PhD, MD, or MBA) or CFA designation preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking, management consulting, or a related field with a focus on Healthcare, Therapeutics, or MedTech.
• Strong understanding of healthcare markets, clinical trial processes, and regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
