Job Description

The purpose of this position is to execute the maintenance inspections, repairs, and calibration of the electrical and some mechanical equipment.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test electrical power systems and equipment.
• Make electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Organize and maintain an inventory of electrical parts.
• Learn to repair and maintain various electrical systems.
• Assist with equipment installations and testing to completion.
• Support our engineering staff by providing phone support in a 24/7 environment.

Position Requirements:

• An apprenticeship as an electrician or a Technical Degree in electrical maintenance, technologies, or science.
• Minimum of 10 years of industry related experience as a commercial, industrial electrician.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical theory and its application to repairing complex electrical systems.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work to completion with 100% success.
• Travel may be required.
• Basic understanding of electronics and willingness to learn television broadcasting equipment.
• Strong verbal and writing communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• This position will require lifting of moderate to heavy equipment, 50lbs-100lbs.
