We are a GC with a ton of work in the greater Boston area and due to growth, have an immediate need for talented Superintendents! Currently we have New Construction, Historical Restoration, Commercial, Residential, Industrial and Institutional Construction projects so the right candidate will have y experience in one or more of these areas.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Business Development Manager to join our thriving team. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with an assertive approach, who is ready to take our construction business to the next level. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in the construction industry, particularly in a General Contractor role. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with the opportunity to shape the future of our company.

Responsibilities:

As a Construction Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Driving new business opportunities and expanding our client base within the construction industry.
2. Building and maintaining relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
3. Developing and implementing strategic business development plans to achieve or exceed set targets.
4. Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and understanding the market trends.
5. Coordinating with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials and strategies.
6. Leading the bid process from identifying the opportunity, managing pre-qualification questionnaires, and overseeing the tendering process.
7. Negotiating contracts with clients in a timely and reliable manner.
8. Working closely with project management teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
9. Providing regular reports to senior management on business development activities and progress towards company objectives.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably as a General Contractor.
2. Strong understanding of the construction industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and legal requirements.
3. Proven track record in generating new business and achieving revenue growth.
4. Exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.
5. Strong networking skills with a demonstrable ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Proficient in using business development software and tools.
8. A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
9. Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
