Responsibilities: Perform Quality Jewelry RepairsExecute precise ring sizings, reshanking, retipping of prongs, chain soldering, head replacements while working with a torch and laser welder and exhibit expert polishing/finishing with a focus on durability and craftsmanship.Commitment to ExcellenceMaintain the highest standards of quality and attention to detail, ensuring every repair meets both company and client expectations.Eager to Learn GrowEmbrace training from master jewelers to refine skills, expand knowledge in advanced metalwork techniques, and progress toward mastery.Collaborate in a Team-Focused EnvironmentWork alongside a team of expert jewelers, contributing to a culture of continuous learning, support, and shared expertise.Maintain Workshop StandardsEnsure a clean, organized, and safe work environment while properly caring for tools and equipment.Problem-Solving AdaptabilityApproach each repair with a critical eye, diagnosing issues and providing creative solutions that enhance both the beauty and longevity of each piece. Qualifications:

• This position requires SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE IN JEWELRY REPAIR in a retail or commercial jewelry repair shop. Please do not apply if this experience is not in place. Exceptions made only for candidates who have taken classes at New Approach School for Jewelers.
• Experience in chain repair, ring sizing, prong retipping, head soldering, intricate soldering, and other basic skills working with precious metals.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills in the realm of jewelry repair
• Willingness to learn and grow with a humble and appreciative approach to constructive instruction
• Ability to use both a jewelry torch and a jewelry laser welder
• Availability to start on location in a full time position within two to four weeks
