Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
A bit about us: We are a growing food production company headquartered in Canada with multiple sites across the US. We partner with major grocery retailers to provide high-quality and delicious Japanese food. Our operations have been expanding exponentially, doubling our revenue in the past year.
Due to our growth, we are seeking an Area Supervisor who has a background in food service to join our team in Hawaii. You will be responsible for managing our franchise locations, bringing in new franchisees, training, ensuring product quality, and that our locations are running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will travel across Oahu, the Big Island, and Maui.

Job Details Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall day-to-day management and operations of assigned locations including people management, food safety, guest services, sales, and food quality
- Accountable for recruiting, training, developing and motivating franchisees.
- Regular store visits and monitoring of kiosks to ensure they are compliant with Bento regulatory requirements including quality assurance and food safety, health and safety standards and ensuring all required corrective action is taken promptly.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with store management and third-party auditors.
- Execution of new store openings and implementing new product/program rollouts.
- Ensure that the production plans are regularly amended to maximize profitability for each location through a combination of sales optimization and waste control.
- Ensure Daily Production Reports, checklists and reports are completed accurately for operational matters.
- Monthly inventory counts, Quality Assurance and Bento Compliance Audits.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of food service management experience, preferably in a multi-unit environment.
- Ability to travel across Hawaiian islands to oversee our different locations
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong communication skills in both oral and written English.
- Must be self-motivated and guest focused oriented.
- ServSafe Certification is an asset
