Job Overview:

• We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team. This position will manage all accounts receivable functions, including AIA pay applications, coordinating with Project Managers to track Schedule of Values (SOV) , and various billing formats. The successful candidate will be responsible for customer follow-ups, collections, and assisting our CPA firm with multi-state sales tax and payroll liabilities. Additionally, this role will involve maintaining company licenses across various states and trades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounts receivable functions, including AIA pay applications and SOV tracking
• Prepare and maintain multiple billing formats for various clients
• Conduct customer follow-up calls and implement collection measures as needed
• Assist our partnering CPA firm with multi-state sales tax, use tax, and payroll liabilities
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements for multiple states
• Maintain and renew company licenses across various states and trades
• Additional accounting-related duties as required by the company

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, and collections
• Experience with AIA pay applications and SOV tracking is a plus
• Strong knowledge of multi-state sales tax and payroll liabilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ability to work with large data sets and create reports
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams
• Ability to handle sensitive financial data with discretion
