We have an opening for an Associate DevOps Engineer or DevOps Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Tactical Space organization. This position will be in Dulles, VA.

In this Role, you will:

• Produce applications that span languages and toolsets including Python, Postgres, Ansible, cloud infrastructure provisioning, PKI, and static code analysis
• Locate and remediate problems in code, testing, and deployment
• Take program software to the next level by using automation frameworks
• Learn cutting edge technologies that take full advantage of a cloud environment
• Use tools like Jenkins and Ansible to set up automation steps that fast-track code from development, testing, and deployment
• Be a part of the enabling technology at Northrop Grumman that puts satellites and spacecraft into space that catapults the Space Protection Mission to the forefront of capability and effectiveness

Basic Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a level 1 or a level 2. Basic qualifications for a Software Engineer 1 is a Bachelor’s Degree. Basic qualifications for a Software Engineer 2 is a Master’s Degree.

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s and/or Master’s) from an accredited institution
• Be majoring in or having majored in a Computer Science, or closely related major
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Experience with the design, build, and deployment of software products
• Familiarity with Agile framework or Scaled Agile Framework
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and how it compliments Agile software development
• Experience working with Python preferably on Linux operating systems
• Experience working with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, PostgreSQL, SonarQube
• Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure provisioning
• US Citizenship with a current or active Top-Secret clearance

Associate DevOps Engineer: 74000-111000

DevOps Engineer: 87,200 - 130,800
